ERNEST YEUNG
▽
As a fourth-year Interior Design student at Toronto Metropolitan University, Ernest Yeung brings a unique depth of experience and perspective to his designs. When designing, Ernest integrates digital fabrication as a key tool to transform designs developed in Rhino and Grasshopper into tangible realities. As a design intern at Studio Paolo Ferrari, he had the privilege of contributing to large-scale luxury hospitality projects, gaining hands-on experience across a range of global projects.
Proficient in Rhino, Grasshopper, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite, Ernest excels at using these tools to create custom solutions tailored to each client. He draws inspiration from the client’s values and the site itself, blending these elements to create designs that not only reflect the environment and its demographics but also stand out as distinct and memorable. Each project becomes a custom solution - tailored, unique, and deeply connected to both the client and its surroundings.
This logo reflects my passion for digital fabrication and my love for working in rhino.
As i’ve grown to be very proficient with the software, it’s become an integral part of how i design and express ideas.
The logo not only spells out '3DM', the rhino extension, but also my initials (EY), symbolizing that connection.
